Women into Management is a project aimed at enabling women to aspire into management roles. This project provides the opportunity for women to obtain a management qualification.

If your business meets the eligibility criteria, the costs of training and assessment for courses may be paid in full or in part. Courses are offered at levels 3 and 4 to women who meet the eligibility criteria.

MANAGEMENT NVQ LEVELS 3 and 4

The NVQ in Management is aimed at those who are responsible for the control of activities and work output of a team at middle and senior manager level.

This course provides individuals with an opportunity to develop and demonstrate the skills and knowledge needed for a career in leadership and management.

Training days: 10.00 - 5.00 plus assessment time arranged with each individual

NVQ Qualification - Awarding Body: OCR (Oxford Cambridge and Royal Society of Arts)

To achieve the full award, candidates must complete mandatory and optional units, selected in consultation with your assessor. The training is optional: you can attend any or none of the days, according to your work role and your business needs. Assessment is required to complete the qualification, consisting of:
* Induction in your workplace
* Introduction to the course and NVQs
* Assessment in your workplace
* Portfolio building in your workplace

Funding for these courses to the value of over £2,000 is available for eligible companies under the Women into Management programme. For not-for profit organizations, the training is free.

Eligibility
* Companies: Less than 250 employees, based in East London
* Women receiving training should be:
- Aged 20 or over
- Working either employed or as a volunteer
- One of the following: single parent, over 50, ethnic minority, disabled/learning difficulty

The following courses provide training in aspects of management:
* Managing Personal Development
* Team Leaders
* Monitoring and Evaluation
* Health and Safety
* Equal Opportunity and Diversity
* Planning and Implementing Change (2 days)

You can also choose other training from our wider course offer in business and management in consultation with your assessor.


Train to Gain and Women into Management is a new service designed to help businesses and organisations with less than 5,000 and 250 employees (Regional organisations also considered) access staff training opportunities to succeed and ensure that staff have the right skills to do the best job.

Training is FREE and/or at a MINIMAL cost compared to the usual costs of over £2,000.

Training is aimed at women, over 20, UK resident and in some cases single parents, over 50, ethnic minorities or disabled/learning difficulties, who aspire to develop and enhance skills in management Level 3, customer services, team leading, retail skills and IT. Train to Gain & Women into Management is funded by The Learning Skills Council and The European Social Fund.

The programme is aimed solely at women, to help address the existing gender equality gap and increase the presence of women in managerial positions in the UK

The Innovatory provides you with committed and qualified team of trainers highly experienced in their field. Training is flexible with between 3-7 days training to assist personal and company needs to ensure companies and organisations get the best outcomes.
