To provide participants with opportunities to develop their working relationships and apply this teamwork to the planning of a live team project. During the Developing Teams through Projects workshop, they will learn techniques for understanding what makes people and teams tick, for making decisions and solving problems as a team, and for defining & running effective team projects.
By the end of the course, participants will have:
- Identified their personal strengths in the work they do and their working relationships
- Recognised how different people with different strengths contribute to team performance
- Recognised how difficulties can arise in working relationships and the adjustments we need to make to overcome these
- Assessed how to adapt personal style to achieve personal and team objectives
- Applied techniques as a team for defining and planning projects
- Produced in a team a definition for a live project
